Valentine’s Day Cards 

Students may share Valentine’s Day cards with their classmates, but please ensure to include all students. We would like to ask parents to refrain from sending food items for students to share in class. Also, please do not include food items with Valentine’s Day cards to give to students. If you have questions related to Valentine’s Day activities, please communicate with your child’s classroom teacher. 

Report Cards and IPPs 

Report Cards will be available through your MyCBE account on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. Please follow this link for instructions on accessing the report card online. For more information on assessment and reporting, please follow this link to the CBE website. IPPs were sent home on Friday, January 19 and if you have not yet sent the signed signature sheet please do so on Monday, January 29, 2024. 

Learning Disruption Funding 

We have received some funding from Alberta Education to address learning gaps in Literacy and Numeracy with students in Grades 1 to 3. We have increased the FTE of both Lindsey Jenkins and Julie Kim to support these students. If you have questions regarding this support, please reach out to Madame Julie.  

Unique Pathways Information Night 

Students, parents, and CBE staff are invited to the first annual Unique Pathways Information Night. The goal of this event is for students and parents to meet program partners and learn details about the courses and programs Unique Pathways offers for the upcoming 2024-25 school year.  

Students can ask questions to industry experts, speak to post-secondary representatives, see course outlines and materials to discover opportunities that develop career paths and interests.
