There are many ways you can contribute to our school’s success, and make a difference for our school and our students. Healthy Hunger Dates

Please consider supporting our Healthy Hunger Lunch fundraisers. This is a fun way to support school initiatives while getting a much-needed break from packing school lunches (Grades 1-6). Popcorn days are also a great way to provide a fun snack to students (including our kindergarten classes). The dates and vendors for the 2026-27 school year are as follows:

Texas Donut Fundraiser

Announcing Grade 6 farewell fundraising donut days for the 2026-27 school year!

Please log into your child's Healthy Hunger account to place your order! Huge Texas donuts are available 3 days: November 25, February 3 and May 5.

They will be packaged individually so extras can be ordered to take home!

Orders close 7 days before delivery.

Mabel's Labels

Tired of having your child's belongings end up in the lost and found cycle. Mabel's Labels might be a solution. Visit their website for more information. Make sure you select Westgate Elementary and the school will receive a percentage of earnings to support our fundraising efforts.

COBS Bread 

Westgate School is registered at both the COBS in Signal Hill and Aspen. When you purchase from COBS, you just need to let them know that you are with Westgate School and the school will receive 5% of the yearly purchases.

Ways to give to our school include:

Monetary (cash) Donation
  • I wish to receive a tax receipt for my donation. Tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or more.
    • Visit the EducationMatters online donation webpage to make a donation. (Preferred donation method)
    • Write a cheque payable to EducationMatters  (all one word) and include the name of our school and the specific program, activity or item you want your donation to support in the 'memo' section. Give the cheque to the school or mail it to: EducationMatters, 1221 8 Street SW Calgary, AB T2R 0L4
  • I do not wish to receive a tax receipt for my donation
    • ​Write a cheque made payable to Calgary Board of Education  and include the name of our school and the specific program, activity or item you want your donation to support in the 'memo' section. Give the cheque to the school.
