Math Night for Parents (IN PERSON) - Thursday, November 30th, 2023 - 6:30-7:30pm Westgate School Learning Commons  

Wondering about the Alberta new Math curriculum? Wondering how to support your child during this transition?

Join us for an evening of learning! An overview of the new Alberta Math curriculum will be shared as well as how Westgate is transitioning to the new learning objectives. We will also explore fun, engaging and easy ways your family can work on numeracy at home!

Westgate School Council and Parent Society Meetings – Thursday, November 30, 2023 7:30-8:30pm 

These meetings will begin at 7:30pm in the Learning Commons, following the Math Night for Parents presentation from 6:30-7:30pm. Refreshments will be provided. The Leadership team will be presenting the 2023-2024 School Development Plan, discussing our holistic goal of New Curriculum Implementation and explain what teachers and students will be doing to improve achievement in the areas of wellness, literacy and math for students.
