As another wonderful school year comes to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on what an incredible year it has been at Westgate.

Throughout the year, our school community came together to create meaningful learning experiences and lasting memories for our students. From our School Council's outstanding community events—including SnowBall, Carnaval, and Gator Fest—to the many classroom celebrations, performances, field trips, and learning opportunities, our students have been surrounded by experiences that have helped them grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

A heartfelt thank you goes to our dedicated School Council and the many parent volunteers who generously gave their time, energy, and talents throughout the year. Your support enriches our school in countless ways, and we are so grateful for the strong partnership we share with our families.

We wrapped up the school year with an unforgettable Gator Fun Day. It was wonderful to see our students laughing, playing, and celebrating together—a perfect way to end another successful year at Westgate.

As we say goodbye to this school year, we also say farewell to our amazing Grade 6 students. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished during their time at Westgate. We wish each of them every success as they begin the next chapter of their educational journey in junior high. Once a Gator, always a Gator!

I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to our exceptional teachers and support staff. Their passion, dedication, and commitment to our students make Westgate the special place it is. Every day, they create a welcoming environment where students are encouraged to learn, grow, take risks, and thrive. Their efforts make a lasting difference in the lives of our students and families.

Thank you to all of our Westgate families for your ongoing support, partnership, and trust throughout the year. Together, we have built a caring and connected school community that truly puts students at the heart of everything we do.

It has been another fantastic year at Westgate, and I am already looking forward to all that next year will bring.
