We will be celebrating Carnaval from February 2-6. This will be a special few days where we get to explore Canadian French Culture through fun activities. On Monday, we will have Folkfolie musical performances. Tuesday, students will get to participate in the much loved tradition of Cabane à Sucre. On Thursday, families are invited to join us for a fun outdoor afterschool celebration from 4:30 to 6:30pm. There will be music, games, crêpes, hot chocolate (while supplies last) and a food truck, as well as ice skating on our community rink – all weather permitting of course! We will also be having a bottle drive. Look for the Bowness Bottle Depot truck parked along 8 Avenue on the north side of the school. We have raised over $1000 during our last two bottle drives. This money goes towards various school initiatives for the Parents' Society. On Friday, the staff and students have the opportunity to dress up as bûcherons.
