May 8 – Hats On for Mental Health
All staff and students are encouraged to help raise awareness of the importance of mental health by wearing a hat to school on May 8. This campaign is a partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association.
Quest Theatre
All K-6 students thoroughly enjoyed a very entertaining presentation by Quest Theatre on April 29. They were excellent musicians and performers with wonderful messages about kindness, inclusion and celebrating our uniqueness!
May 29 - Volunteer Tea (11:00am - 12:30pm)
A huge part of what makes Westgate School such a wonderful place to be is that we come together with one another to support students. We couldn't do this without the involvement of our amazing volunteers. From joining us on field trips, reading with students, helping with popcorn and special lunch days, helping in the classroom, to behind the scenes organizing and so much more, we appreciate it all. Thank you for the difference you make. We would like to come together to recognize you! Please join us for our volunteer tea on May 29 from 11:00am -12:30pm. Please RSVP by clicking on this link so that we can plan for numbers.
Looking forward to seeing you there 🙂
