Welcome Back, Westgate Gator Families!

J’espère que vous avez tous passé un été reposant, agréable et rempli de beaux moments en famille. We are so excited to welcome our Westgate students and families back for another wonderful school year!

This year, we are thrilled to welcome several new members to our Westgate team. Please join us in welcoming Jake Docherty and Cassidy Thibodeau to Kindergarten, Nadine Thompson and Anna Chandra to Grade 1, and Shannon Rath to Grade 2. We are especially excited to welcome Shannon back to Westgate as a teacher — she is a former Westgate student who was taught by many of our current staff members! What a wonderful connection to our school community.

As we begin the year, we encourage all families to stay connected and tuned in to school communication. This week in particular, please watch for important start-up information, and throughout the year, continue to check your emails and school communications regularly so that you don’t miss important updates, events and opportunities. We send weekly updates each Friday. 

We would also love to see more of our parents and guardians involved in our School Council this year. School Council is a wonderful way to connect with other families, share ideas and perspectives, and help shape the experiences and opportunities we provide for our students. Whether you are able to attend regularly or occasionally, your voice and involvement make a difference!

We are looking forward to another year of learning, connection, growth and of course, fun!
