SoundKreations | Dance Residency (June 2-20)
We are thrilled to welcome back SoundKreations for our annual dance residency. Part of our Physical Education curriculum focuses on directional movement and patterns and sequences of movement in rhythmic and expressive activities. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn from an expert in the field of dance. Students will be learning moves in all three dance styles in this residency.
My 1st Ride Registration is Open
On May 24 & 25, the CBE and its partners are offering the My 1st Ride bus orientation program. This free event is designed to familiarize students with the experience of taking the yellow bus to and from school. The orientation is aimed at first-time riders and students with special transportation service, so students arrive safely, on time and ready to learn. Click here to register.
Volunteer Appreciation Tea
A huge part of what makes Westgate School such a wonderful place to be is that we come together with one another to support students. We couldn't do this without the involvement of our amazing volunteers. From joining us on field trips, reading with students, helping with popcorn and special lunch days, helping in the classroom, to behind the scenes organizing and so much more, we appreciate it all. Thank you for the difference you make. We would like to come together to recognize you! Please join us for our volunteer tea on May 27 from 10 :00 -11:30.

GatorFest
GatorFest will be Thursday, May 29 from 4:30-6:30pm. This event takes place rain or shine, and is held both indoors and outside. Please look for the flyer coming home in your students' backpacks early next week for important information regarding the event.
Calling for all bakers!! We need 100 cakes for the Musical Cakes game. Parents, guardians and even grandparents are invited to volunteer! Do you have any Westgate Alumni in your family?
