Lockdown – Today

Today was our first lockdown of the school year. The two police officers who came said our school did brilliantly. The students were very respectful and quiet. Teachers were informed ahead of time so they could discuss with the students and prepare them for the drill. Please take an opportunity to discuss how it went with them. Merci!

Grade 5 Celebrations of Learning

We’d like to share our gratitude to those family members who attended the Grade 5 Celebrations of Learning this past week. We were so pleased to have many families join us. The students were excited and proud to share their learning. Sincere thanks to our Grade 5 teaching team and their students for their time and effort in planning.

We are looking forward to next week’s Grade 1 Assembly!

SnowBall and Holiday Donations

What a fantastic evening we had at last night’s SnowBall Community Event. It was wonderful to see so many families join us for the festivities. Huge thanks to the super duo of Holly Joy Stanford and Vanessa Huey who organized the event and all the parent volunteers who made it a huge success.

Library News – Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair was a huge success.  Thanks to the parents’ and students’ support, sales were over $17,000.00 and the library will benefit from a $6800.00 credit.  A special MEGA thanks to the parents and teacher volunteers and Mme Brenda who made this all possible.
