GatorFest 

Huge thanks to Westgate School Council and Parent Society, led by Stephanie Paquet and Sheri Bolitho, as well as all the amazing volunteers that made this such a wonderful event for Westgate families, students and staff. The turnout was so great and the weather was very cooperative! We have already had a lot of positive feedback from students and parents and we are looking forward to next year!  

Rainy Days 

When it is raining, but not too heavily, and there is no wind and it’s not too cold, we will be sending students outside for morning and lunch recess. It is very important for students to have an opportunity to get some fresh air and move around during the school day. Please ensure your child(ren) arrive at school with appropriate clothing for such weather, such as a raincoat, rain boots and an umbrella. 

Donated books 

When returning books to the school library, please do not send along books for donation. We appreciate the generosity, but our library is overflowing with books! Thank you.
