Staff Appreciation Breakfast
On behalf of Westgate staff we would like to thank our School Council for organizing the Staff Appreciation Breakfast. And, to those parents who contributed items, sincere thanks for an absolutely delicious breakfast. What a wonderful way to start our Friday!
Westgator Fun Day
We are still in need of volunteers for Westgator Fun Day, Thursday, June 27 from 8:30am-12:00pm. If you would like to volunteer, please ensure that you have a valid volunteer clearance.

POWERSCHOOL – REPORT CARD AVAILABILITY
Your child’s report card will be available to view, download and/or print starting from June 26, 2024 to July 26, 2024 (8:00 am). Report cards for the 2023-24 school year may be viewed, downloaded and/or printed.
Parents and Guardians can sign in to MyCBE to view student information, including report cards, comments from your child’s teacher, assignments and grades, and attendance information. For best access to information, log in to the MyCBE portal instead of using the PowerSchool App.
If you are interested in learning more about your child’s learning, there are supporting resources such as “How is my child doing in school?” and “Report Card Indicators” in the Assessment and Reporting webpage.

Library Books
As the school year winds down, we would like to remind you to round up all library materials and return them to the library.
Each student has received a Westgate School library bag as a gift from School Council. Please ensure that you keep this bag so students have their library bag when signing out books in the fall.
Lost and Found
We still have a large number of items in our lost and found. Please remember to check for your child’s lost items by Noon on Thursday, June 27. Unclaimed items will be sent to charity at the end of the day on June 27.
Students Leaving the CBE
We would like to remind students who are leaving the CBE to ensure they save any important files or emails, as they will lose access to CBE tools including Google Workspace, Gmail, Google Classroom, Iris, and Brightspace.
Prior to June 30, students must take copies of the information they need before they leave the CBE. Students not registered as returning to CBE in the fall will have their account deactivated this summer and their data deleted. This is especially important in cases where a student has accidentally used their CBE Gmail for personal use. Students cannot be granted access to their account after they have left the CBE.
