Grade 6 Outdoor School and Grade 4 Overnight Tyrell Trip
Sincere thanks to our teachers and parent volunteers who helped make these two amazing excursions happen for Westgate students. These trips take a significant amount of effort from the teachers in charge, and thanks to them the students have shared a wonderful learning experience together.
School Council Meeting – October 24, 2024 6:30 – 8:00pm
Please join the Westgate School Council and Parents’ Society for their October meetings, in person or virtually! We will meet in Room 12, please park in the SW parking lot and access the school through the compound doors. They will be open at 6:20pm. We have also provided the link below in order for those parents unable to attend can join in. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
The Leadership team (Mme Julie et Mme Stephanie) will be discussing Westgate’s data story from the 2023-24 school year and share a draft version of this year’s School Development Plan.

Halloween
On Thursday, October 31, students are invited to dress in their Halloween costumes.
If your child chooses to participate, please send them to school dressed in their costume that is comfortable for them to wear for the whole day. Inflatable costumes or costumes that include weapons, masks or face coverings or costumes of a violent or gory nature are not permitted.
We ask that parents not send candy, food or other items, as we cannot distribute or share them with students.
Photo Retake Day and Class Photos
Photo retake day and class photos will be held on Monday, November 4. If you would like your child to have retakes, please check the “retake request box” at the bottom of order form and send it with your child on retake day. If your child was absent on photo day, please send a note with your child indicating that you would like them to have their photo taken.
