Student Safety 

The mornings are dark and Winter has arrived – slippery roads and low visibility conditions can make safety an issue. Please: 

• take extra time 
• do not back out of parking spots or enter and drop off in the staff parking lot 
• use crosswalks and look both ways 
• obey traffic rules, stop at stop signs and follow posted speed limits 

SnowBall Family Event – Thank You!  

It was wonderful to see so many students (and former students!) and their families join us for Thursday evening’s SnowBall Event. By all accounts, it was a very enjoyable time for everyone. Sincere thanks to our School Council and the parent volunteers who helped to make it such a success.

Book Fair 

Thank you to all our parents, students and teachers for supporting the Scholastic Virtual Book Fair. Due to everyone's generosity, sales were over $11,600.00 of which Westgate will receive approximately $6,000 to support our library collection. A special thank you to all the volunteers that helped make this event a huge success. 

The door prize winner was Lauren from room 13. 

Special Lunch 

If your child is absent on any of the upcoming Special Lunch Days and you have placed an order, it will be given away if we do not have instructions otherwise. If you would like to pick up your order or have it sent home with someone we ask that you please call the office no later than 11:30am.  

Popcorn orders will be saved and given to your child when they return to school.
