Lifetouch Photo Proofs 

Photo proofs have been sent home with students, orders are due on Friday, October 13, 2023. The Grade 6 students that were at Kamp Kiwanis will receive their photo proofs on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. If your child requires retakes, please check the “retake request box” at the bottom of the order form and return it to your child’s teacher. Your child will require the order form to give to the photographer on retake day. 

Photo Retake Day & Class Photos Rescheduled 

Due to a conflict in the school gym, we have had to reschedule Photo Retake Day. Photo retakes and classroom pictures will now take place on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. 

Casino Fundraiser 

We are still in need of volunteers for our upcoming casino dates on Saturday, November 11 and Sunday, November 12 at Cowboy’s Casino. There are vacancies in several positions on both days. Parking and a free meal are included with all positions. No knowledge of gambling or previous experience is necessary. Volunteers can work more than one shift but must remain in the same position. Please consider signing up today as one casino shift generates the greatest financial return on your time - a low estimate would be about $135/hour worked. Other benefits include time spent with other adults - no kids allowed and getting to know other awesome members in our school community! OurSCHOOL Student Survey Administration 

Between the dates of October 10-19, 2023 grade 4-6 Westgate students will be participating in an online school perception survey called the OurSCHOOL Student Survey. CBE’s Education Plan prioritizes student voice and well-being in our decision-making processes.  Responses from this survey are used at the system and school level to recognize and improve what is necessary for students to feel safe, welcome, and cared for when at school. Westgate is participating in an online school perception survey for students called the OurSCHOOL Student Survey.
